Rapide, efficace, plus un poil qui traine !
I would like to report a very exposing and embarrassing situation I when trough at this establishment.
I had been in this place, Atelier beauté, before and had very nice and satisfying service (all related to épilation) and even recommended to all my friends.
The last time I when, in addition to the épilation I also had scheduled the “Manucure brésilienne”, which I was very excited about as it was described exactly the way we have the manicure at home (I am Brasilian).
The description is very clear, as you can see below:
“À PROPOS DE CETTE PRESTATION
La manucure brésilienne est une beauté des mains complète qui hydrate et nourrit vos mains en profondeur. Tout d'abord, vos ongles sont soigneusement limés avant que vos mains ne soient glissées dans des gants imbibés d'une crème hydratante formulée à base d'ingrédients hydratants, nourrissants et antiseptiques.
La couleur choisie auparavant est ensuite appliquée sur l'ensemble de vos ongles ainsi que leur pourtour afin d'offrir une couvrance totale et impeccable. Le surplus de vernis est ensuite retiré à l'aide d'un bâtonnet de bois et d'un coton imbibé de dissolvant.
Manucure parfaite et longue tenue garantie !

When doing the manicure, the responsible only did some cutting, very badly performed cuticle removal (I can share fotos), bad nail filling (with a file that is very old and I would even say dead), massage and base application. After the base application the responsible for the manicure service told me that the service was over (not performing anything like or at all, all the steps they advertise on the description mentioned above). I was surprised and showed her the description of the service and she informed me, in an aggressive manner, I would have to pay extra for the painting of the nails (she insisted a few times). It was a very uncomfortable situation, for me as a client, to have an establishment “fight/argue” with me. In order for me to have the service I had to show the description to all people on the establishment, to verify if I had incorrect understanding. Finally most of the people present (other employees and especially another client that was also on the establishment), agreed that the description was confusing and for a foreigner I could have interpreted in a different way and they performed the rest of the service (different from what is described above, but by then, I didn’t really care), as if it were a favor (as if I did not pay for it).
I am sorry but I have asked French people, English (that speak French), Portuguese (that speak French) people and all agree that the description is very clear and that the coloring is definitely included (as all other steps not performed as mentioned above)! I have also included the description in google translator and it is very clear in English, Portuguese or French.
After the service was performed, I waited 30 in the establishment in order for the nails to dry and when leaving followed the instructions of the establishment that I should not touch it (for two hours) after the service (very different than all other manicures that I have ever performed but I accepted it). After all this time, I was already at home and decided to have a shower and it was when four of the nails (nail varnish on the nails), fell completely (I can also share pictures).
I am extremely upset with all this situation and will never go back to this establishment.
